Latino-Owned Businesses

There are almost 5 million Hispanic-owned businesses in the United States as of 2023, but financially and economically many remain underserved by the traditional financing industry. Policymakers, private companies and advocacy organizations have continued to make efforts to provide expanded access to capital for Hispanic-owned businesses. The upcoming Biz2Credit 2023 Latino-Owned Business Study shows some of the ways that these efforts are having an effect and open up numerous topics for discussion in relation to the future for Latino-owned companies.

In conjunction with Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 – Oct. 15), this Special Event will give business owners a chance to hear from U.S. Congressman Henry Cuellar (D-TX), along with Biz2Credit CEO, Rohit Arora, one of the country’s leading experts in small business financing, on the current state of Latino-owned businesses.

Presenters for the webinar included:
John Hickenlooper
Henry Cuellar
U.S. Representative (D, TX-28)

  • Learn about initiatives the Federal government is considering to further support to Latino-owned small businesses.
